The Centre for Applied Research in Public Health Law, Rights and Policy is Maharashtra National Law University, Mumbai's flagship centre focused on public health law, dedicated to studying, teaching, and promoting legal issues related to public health. Public health law encompasses a wide range of legal topics that intersect with public health policies and practices, aiming to protect and improve the health and well-being of communities. We at CPHL endeavour to research and curate our findings on the intricacies of Health Law in India in an attempt to increase awareness.

The Journal of Public Health Law and Policy will be a peer-reviewed scholarly publication that serves as a vital platform for the exploration, analysis, and discussion of legal and policy issues at the intersection of public health and the law. The journal will be committed to advancing the understanding of how legal frameworks and policy decisions shape public health outcomes, influence healthcare systems, and impact societal well-being.
COURSE
The course on Public Health Law will aim to reach a diverse audience, including legal scholars, policymakers, public health professionals, healthcare practitioners, researchers, students, and advocates. It endeavours to serve as a bridge between the legal and public health communities, facilitating meaningful dialogue and fostering collaboration.
